Polar Align Assist is a simple Android app designed to assist with polar alignment.
- It uses the device’s azimuth and pitch sensor for alignment.
- Neither camera nor polar scope is required.
- Geomagnetic declination is automatically corrected.
Installation
Download and install apk from releases.

Usage
- Hold your phone/tablet parallel or orthogonal to the polar axis.
- Inverted pitch mode will activate automatically if it’s orthogonal (pointing down).
- When the dot turns green, the alignment error is less than one degree.
